The Nokia 4.2 was launched at Rs 10,990. It comes in two color options – Black and Pink Sand.
The budget handset is now available in India at Rs 6,499. Its price was earlier reduced to Rs 9,499.

The new smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor along with Adreno 505 GPU and 3GB RAM. It is backed by a 3,000mAh battery. The 32GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card slot (up to 400GB).
In terms of optics, the Nokia 4.2 sports a dual camera setup on the back of the smartphone. It combines a 13-megapixel primary sensor (f/2.2 aperture) with a 2-megapixel secondary sensor (f/2.2 aperture).
For selfies and video calling, the handset features an 8-megapixel front camera with an f/2.0 aperture. It is placed in a waterdrop-shaped notch on the top.

The Nokia 4.2 runs Android 9 Pie operating system (based on Google’s Android One platform). Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, VoWiFi support, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, FM radio, Micro-USB 2.0 port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The dual-SIM smartphone sports a 5.71-inch display with HD+ (720 x 1520 pixels) resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio, and a pixel density of 270ppi. It also features a dedicated Google Assistant button and a notification light in the power button.
The premium-looking handset comes with 2.5D glass on both front and back. It measures 148.95 x 71.30 x 8.39mm and weighs 161 grams. A fingerprint sensor is placed on the back.
