The Nokia 2 has been priced at €99 (approx Rs 7,400). It will be available in India by year-end. As of now, there is no information about an Indian price.It is expected to be priced between Rs 6,500 and Rs 9,700. The Nokia 3 is available in India at Rs 9,499.

The new Nokia 2 features a 5-inch LTPS In-Cell Touch display with HD resolution (720 x 1280pixels), 1:1300 contrast ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor and 1GB LPDDR3 RAM. The 8GB internal storage is expandable via a microSD card (up to 128GB).
On the camera front, the Nokia 2 features an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera. It is backed by a massive 4,100mAh battery. HMD Global claims that the new smartphone offers 2-day battery life (with 5 hours usage per day).

The Nokia 2 runs Android 7.1 Nougat operating system (Oreo update confirmed by the company). It also comes with Google Assistant which makes it the first entry-level segment to carry this feature. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, dual-SIM, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio with RDS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The new handset features a polycarbonate body with a 6000 Series Aluminium frame. It measures 143.5 x 71.3 x 9.3mm. The IP52-rated (for drip protection) device comes in three color options – Pewter Black, Pewter White, and Copper. Sensors on the device include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, and proximity sensor.
