HMD Global has launched three new Nokia smartphones in the Indian market. This includes Nokia 2.1 and Nokia 5.1. The company has also launched a 3GB RAM variant of Nokia 3.1. The Nokia 2.1 is the cheapest of three devices. It is priced in India at Rs 6,999. On the other hand, the Nokia 5.1 comes with a price tag of Rs 14,499. The new Nokia 3.1 (with 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage) will be available at Rs 11,999.
All three smartphones will go on sale from August 12. As part of launch offers, customers can get 10 percent cash back on Paytm recharges. Additionally, 5 percent cash back is available for ICICI credit and debit card holders (for Nokia 3.1 or Nokia 5.1 only).
Specifications and Features
While the Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 5.1 are part of Google’s Android One Programme (optimized stock Android experience), the Nokia 2.1 comes runs Android 8.1 Oreo (Go edition).

The Nokia 2.1 sports a 5.5-inch display with HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio and anti-FP coating. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor and 1GBLPDDR3 RAM. The 4000mAh battery offers up to 2-days of battery life.
In terms of optics, new smartphone sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and an LED flash. There is also a 5-megapixel fixed focus front camera for selfies and video calling. The 8GB internal storage is further expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB).
The Nokia 2.1 runs Android Oreo OS (Go edition) out-of-the-box. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
