Nextbit has launched the Ember colored variant of its cloud based smartphone, called the Nextbit Robin. It was previously available in Mint and Midnight color options only. Priced at Rs. 19,999, the Ember color variant will be available to buy exclusively from online retailer Flipkart. It is a limited edition variant and will be available till stock lasts. It is already up for grabs in the US for $299 (approximately Rs. 20,100). As for the Indian market, the Ember Robin will be available starting next week.

Nextbit has launched its much anticipated Nextbit Robin smartphone in India. The highlight of the phone is that it comes with Smart Storage feature that automatically backs up apps and photos and archives the content that is not frequently used. Users can restore the archived content later when required. Although the internal memory of the phone is 32GB, the Smart Storage feature offers additional 100GB of cloud storage to the users. Under the hood, it is powered by a hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and features a 5.2-inch full HD IPS display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection.

On camera front, the Robin smartphone sports a 13 mega pixel rear camera with dual tone LED flash and PDAF. There is also a 5 mega pixel front facing camera onboard. The phone is backed up by a 2680mAh battery and supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, USB Type-C. The device also comes with a fingerprint sensor for additional security.
