Apple has taken the wraps off its new Apple TV (2015) at a launch event in San Francisco. The device comes with several upgrades over its predecessor.
The new Apple TV is powered by a 64-bit Apple A8 chipset. It now comes with integration with virtual assistant Siri and runs a completely new TV OS based on iOS. It also comes with new remote with touchscreen, mic and Wii-like motion control built in. The Apple TV will be available in two variants based on storage- 32GB and 64GB. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, IR receiver, HDMI and Ethernet ports.
During the event, Apple gave demo of Crossy Road which will come with Apple TV with multiplayer mode and up to four users can be added using iPhone.
Apple has also launched its iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus smartphones at the same event. Both smartphones come with several upgrades over their predecessors iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus respectively like force touch display, retina flash and improved Touch ID. The phones come in three variants based on storage- 32GB, 64GB and 128GB. Both devices will go on sale in the US from September 25, 2015 in four color variants- Silver, Gold, Space Gray and Rose Gold. There is no word on Indian pricing and availability of the device as of now.

Price & Availability
The 32GB variant of new Apple TV will be available for $149 and 64 GB version for $199. It will go on sale in late October 2015. There is no word on Indian pricing and availability details of the device.
