Price and Availability
As of now, there is no information about the price and launch date of the upcoming handset. The Motorola P30 was only available in a few select markets. It was launched in China at CNY 2,099 (approx Rs 21,400) for the 64GB internal storage variant. The 128GB storage model comes with a price tag of CNY 2,499 (approx Rs 25,400).

According to recent leaks and rumors, the Motorola P40 will sport a display hole (to house selfie cam). Recently, Samsung, Huawei, and Honor implemented the new design element in devices like Galaxy A8s, Nova 4 and the V20 (View 20), respectively.
The upcoming handset is expected to sport a 6.2-inch display with minimal bezels. It measures 160.1 x 71.2 x 8.7mm and sports a reflective back panel (likely glass). Connectivity options include a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
In terms of optics, the Motorola P40 sports a dual camera setup on the back. It is tipped to include a 48-megapixel primary sensor and a dual LED flash. A fingerprint scanner is also placed on the back (center aligned with the Motorola logo on it).
The upcoming handset is likely to be part of the Android One programme (will get timely software and security updates). An Android One logo can also be spotted at the back.

Moto P30
The Moto P30 sports a 6.2-inch IPS LCD display with full-HD+ (1080 x 2246 pixels) resolution and an 18.7:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor and 6GB RAM. The internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 256GB). It is backed by a 3,000mAh battery.
In terms of optics, the new handset features a dual camera setup on the back. It combines a 16-megapixel primary rear OV16B sensor (f/1.8 aperture) and a secondary 5-megapixel OV5675 sensor (f/2.2 aperture). Camera features include PDAF, and dual-tone LED flash. The 12-megapixel front camera comes with f/2.0 aperture, double-sided AI blur, and AR capabilities.
The dual-SIM smartphone runs Android 8.0 Oreo operating system with custom ZUI 4.0 skin on top. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0 LE, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It comes in Aurora Blue, Black, and White color options.
