Motorola has launched a new P series smartphone in China. The new Moto P30 Note comes with huge 5,000mAh battery and Snapdragon 636 SoC. The Motorola P30 Note is priced in China at CNY 1,999 (approx Rs 20,700) for the 4GB RAM variant. The 6GB RAM variant costs CNY 2,299 (approx Rs. 23,800). The new handset is already available in China. It comes bundled with JBL headphones as part of the introductory offer.
As of now, there is no information about the Indian launch date or price.

The Motorola P30 Note sports a 6.2-inch 2.5 curved glass display with full-HD+ (2246 x 1080 pixels) resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by a 1.8GHz Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor along with Adreno 509 GPU, and 4GB/ 6GB RAM. The 64GB internal storage can be further expanded via a dedicated microSD card slot (up to 256GB).
In terms of optics, the new smartphone sports a dual camera setup on the back. It combines a 16-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.8 aperture, 1.25um pixel size, OmniVision OV16B sensor), and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor (f/2.2 aperture, OmniVision OV5675 sensor) with dual-tone LED flash. The 12-megapixel front camera comes with f/2.0 aperture and 1.25um pixel size.
The huge 5,000mAh battery comes with fast charging support.

The dual-SIM smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with ZUI 4.0 skin on top. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, and 3.5mm audio jack.
The Motorola P30 Note measures 156 x 76 x 8.39mm and weighs 198 grams. It comes in Mercury Black color option.

Conclusion
The premium variant comes with a few upgrades over the base model. This includes the 5,000mAh battery and a dedicated micro SD card. The handset sports similar specs as the recently unveiled Motorola One Power smartphone. It is expected to be launched at Rs 14,000 (for the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant) in India. The Android One-based Motorola One Power runs stock Android 8.1 Oreo OS.
