Motorola Moto X Play Launched In India

Motorola has launched its Motorola Moto X Play smartphone in India. The handset was introduced back in July 2015 alongside Moto X Style phone.

As for specifications, the Moto X Play packs a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor under the hood, paired with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB of RAM. It runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system. The handset features a 5.5-inch display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. On storage basis, the device be available in two variants- 16GB and 32GB, both with expandable support up to 128GB using microSD card.

On camera front, the Moto X Play sports a 21 mega pixel rear camera with dual tone LED flash and f/2.0 aperture while there is also s 5 mega pixel camera secondary on the front for capturing selfies and making video calls. Fueled by a monstrous 3630mAh battery, it is claimed to survive up to 30 hours on a single charge. The phone measures 148x75x8.9mm and weighs 169 grams.

The 16GB variant of Moto X Play is priced at Rs. 18,499 while the 32GB model is priced at Rs. 19,999. The smartphone will be available to buy exclusively from Flipkart starting September 14, 2015 midnight. The company has also announced several launch offers which include- 100% cashback to 100 lucky customers using Flipkart Ping; Flipkart E-Gift voucher worth Rs. 1,000; movie vouchers worth Rs. 500 for free from BookmyShow; and some Makemy Trip offers. These offers can be availed from September 15 to September 20.
