Motorola has silently launched Motorola Moto X 2nd Gen Cognac variant on Flipkart. The highlight of this handset is its cognac leather look.
Under the hood, the Moto X 2nd Gen Cognac variant is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz paired with 2GB of RAM. Running Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system (upgradable to Android 5.0 Lollipop), it features a 5.2 inch full HD Capacitive touchscreen display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution. There is 32GB of inbuilt storage onboard. The device sports a 13 mega pixel rear camera and a 2 mega pixel front facing camera. It also comes with dual LED ring flash.
Backed up by a 2300mAh battery, it measures 140.8×72.4×9.97 mm in dimensions and weighs 144 grams. The device features water resistant coating for protection against accidental splashes.

The Motorola Moto X 2nd Gen Cognac variant (32GB) is now available to purchase on Flipkart for Rs. 25,999 which is Rs. 1,000 more than the standard Moto X 2nd Gen (32GB) variants.
Motorola is also reportedly working on third generation Moto X smartphone. Specifications and features of this upcoming device have started churning out rumor mill. As per rumors, it will be powered by a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. It will feature a 5.2-inch Quad-HD AMOLED display and run Android 5.1.1 operating system. Other specifications of the phone include 32GB/64GB inbuilt storage, 16 mega pixel rear camera with Clear Pixel technology, 5 mega pixel front facing camera and 3280 mAh battery.
