The Motorola Moto Maxx smartphone which was unveiled in November 2014 is likely to hit the Indian shores soon. Online retailer Flipkart has posted an image, teasing the launch of a new Motorola phone. The name of the upcoming phone has not been revealed, but Flipkart has teased it with the description ‘Moto Beast’ which we expect to be a smartphone, none other than Moto Maxx. Read on to find more information on specifications, features and other details of Motorola’s upcoming smartphone.
The teaser image shared by Flipkart says “Get your life turbocharged” and “accelerated performance, Ballistic Nylon fairing, revving in soon.” The image is further supplemented with a tweet which reads “There’s a Moto beast coming your way… exclusively on Flipkart. Stay tuned for more details. #MotoOnFlipkart.” Though Flipkart has not clearly mentioned the name of the upcoming launch but the description indicates that it is going to be the Moto Maxx.
Moto Maxx is the international version of Droid Turbo, launched last year which is powered by 2.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor coupled with 3 GB of RAM and runs on Android 4.4 operating system. The upcoming variant however may come with Android 5.0 Lollipop. It features a 5.2 inch qHD display with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution, 565 ppi pixel desnity and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. On camera front, it sports a 21 mega pixel auto focus rear camera with dual-LED flash and a 2 mega pixel front facing camera. The handset comes in 64 GB storage variant and packs a powerful 3900 mAh battery which is claimed to survive up to 48 hours. Just 15 minutes of charging promises 8 hours of battery life. It includes 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC and Micro-USB as connectivity options.
Price and Availability
If launched in India, the Motorola Moto Maxx will be available exclusively through Flipkart. Details about availability and pricing have not been revealed yet. We expect it to be launched in India in the coming days.
