Motorola India has sent out invites for an event scheduled on May 17, 2016. Although the invite doesn’t reveal any details about the product it is going to launch, it is expected to launch the Motorola Moto G4 and G4 smartphones.
With Moto G4 and G4 Plus smartphones being heavily rumored to be launched around May or June 2016, Motorola’s invite strongly hints that the company is gearing up to launch both devices in India on May 17.
As far as specifications are concerned, leaks about Motorola Moto G4 and its Plus variant, have already been churning out the rumor mill lately. As per rumors, both smartphones are said to feature a 5.5-inch display and house 16GB of internal memory. As for camera, the Moto G4 is likely to sport a 13 mega pixel primary camera while Moto G4 Plus will sport a 16 mega pixel rear camera.
The Moto G4 Plus is likely to feature a fingerprint sensor integrated into the home button, for additional security. The Moto G4, on the other hand, will not feature a fingerprint sensor. On design front, both phones are said to come with a metal frame and plastic back. Both devices are rumored to come with interchangeable back covers in Black and White colors like the Moto G 3rd Gen.
Surprisingly the invite sent by Motorola has no mention of Lenovo at all which again puts us in ambiguity as to which product the company is planning to launch. Would it be Moto G4? Or would it be a totally different product?
As we inch closer to May 17, more details are expected to surface. We will update you with more developments on this story as soon as more information will arrive. Stay tuned with us!
