The Motorola Edge is priced in Europe at EUR 699 (approx Rs 58,000). Sales will start in May this year.
The new smartphone comes in Solar Black and Midnight Magenta color options. There is no information about the Indian price and launch date.

The Motorola Edge is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 processor along with 6GB RAM and Adreno 620 GPU.
The new handset is backed by a 4,500mAh battery that supports 18W TurboPower charging tech. The 128GB storage can be expanded via a micro SD card (up to 1TB).
Cameras
On the back, the Motorola Edge features a 64MP primary camera sensor (f/1.8 aperture, 0.8-micron pixel size) and a 16MP wide-angle camera (f/2.2, 117-degree field of view).
The camera set up also includes an 8MP telephoto lens (f/2.4 aperture, 2x optical zoom) and a Time of Flight (ToF) sensor.
For selfies and video calling, the new smartphone comes equipped with a 25-megapixel front camera (f/2.0 aperture).

The Motorola Edge runs the stock Android 10 operating system. Connectivity options include 5G, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, AGPS, LTEPP, SUPL, GLONASS, Galileo, and Beidou.
The dual-SIM smartphone also comes with a My UX hub in the Moto app. You can customize fonts, colors, icon shapes, and fingerprint sensor animations. The custom theme reflects even inside the notification drawer.
The Motorola Edge also features Waves-tuned dual stereo speakers. The company claims that the Waves MaxxAudio Mobile suite will provide superior audio output.
Sensors on the device include an in-display fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, ambient light, and sensor hub.

Design and Display
The mid-range smartphone sports a 6.7-inch curved OLED display with Full-HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. It features a and has an IP54 certified build.
Motorola has added several features to the near 90-degree curve. It shows battery charging status and notifications for incoming calls, messages, and alarms.
You swipe up or down on the edge to check notifications or quickly switch apps. The curved edge also shows two customizable buttons at the top and bottom for gaming in landscape mode.

Conclusion
The company has also launched the premium Motorola Edge+ model. It sports a curved display with hole-punch design and four rear cameras as well.
However, unlike the Motorola Edge, the flagship smartphone sports a 108-megapixel primary camera sensor.
