American consumer electronics company Motorola is expected to launch the Moto Z3 Play soon. The smartphone has already been through several leaks and rumors over the course of time. In the leaks, it seems that the device will be similar to most devices of the Moto Z-series. These come with Moto Mods support. A Moto Z3 Play leak has emerged. It revealed alleged images of a fully built Moto Z3 Play.

Last week, a Moto Z3 Play leak consisted of a press render. It displayed the smartphone’s design.

The new images have been revealed by ITHome. The Moto Z3 Play leak consists of images which show a raised portion of the device’s back. It suggests that the smartphone could sport a dual-rear camera setup. It also has pogo pins which harbor the Moto Mods. The fingerprint reader seems to be absent from both the back and front. So this means that the scanner could be placed at the side, somewhere near the power button. This had surfaced in a previous Moto Z3 Play Leak.

 

One of the leaked photos displays the smartphone’s model number. The model number is XT1929. A device with a similar model number was leaked earlier. The photos also show that the smartphone will run Android 8.1.0 out-of-the-box. Even the May security patch was mentioned.

The Moto Z3 Play leak also mentions that the smartphone will probably be launched in June 2018.

In terms of specifications, the device is speculated to be built with a 6-inch full-HD+ (1080×21600 pixels) display. The smartphone will probably be powered by a Snapdragon 636 processor. It will be backed by either 4GB RAM+32GB storage or 6GB RAM+64GB storage. The smartphone is expected to be packed with a 3000mAh battery.
