Motorola has finally announced its Moto Z3 smartphone. The new handset is an upgraded version of the company’s Z3 Play. It comes with better hardware and camera setup. Lenovo has partnered with Qualcomm to launch a new 5G Moto Mod that will enable 5G on the handset. Motorola also announced that it has no plans to bring the Moto Z3 Force. The Moto Z3 sports a 6.0-inch Super AMOLED display with 18:9 aspect ratio, full-HD+ resolution (1080 x 2160 pixels), and 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor along with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage (expandable up to 2TB).
In terms of optics, the new smartphone comes with a dual camera setup on the back. It combines two 12-megapixel sensors with f/2.0 aperture. The 8-megapixel front camera comes with f/2.0 aperture and an 84-degree field-of-view.
The Moto handset is backed by a 3000 mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery with Turbopower support (offers half days charge in just 30min).

The Moto Z3 runs Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. It comes with face unlock support. A fingerprint sensor is also placed on the side. Other sensors on the device include an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer (compass), and proximity sensor.
The splash resistant device comes in only one color option – Ceramic Black. It measures 156.5×76.5×6.75mm and weighs 156 grams. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C.
The new 5G Moto Mod uses a Snapdragon X50 modem and millimeter wave components. In the US, it will offer 5G access on Verizon network. Additionally, the Moto Z3 comes with One Button Nav that allows users to swipe left to go back, right to access recent apps, and tap to go home.
