The Moto G8 Power Lite is priced in India at Rs 8,999. It and will go on sale from May 29 via Flipkart.
As part of launch offers, Flipkart is offering 5 percent unlimited cash back on purchases made via Axis Bank Credit Card.
In Europe, the Moto G8 Power Lite was launched at EUR 169 (approx Rs 13,900). It comes in two color options – Arctic Blue and Royal Blue.

The Moto G8 Power Lite is powered by a 2.3GHz MediaTek Helio P35 processor and 4GB RAM. The 64GB internal storage can be further expanded via a micro SD card (up to 256GB).
The new handset is backed by a huge 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support. It is said to offer up to 19 hours of video playback and 100 hours of audio playback.
Cameras
On the back, the Moto G8 Power Lite sports a triple camera setup. It uses a 16MP primary sensor (f/2.0 aperture, PDAF), a 2MP macro lens (f/2.4), and a 2MP depth sensor (f/2.4).
Camera features include HDR, beauty mode, dual camera blur effect, timer, panorama, Google Lens integration.
For selfies and video calling, the smartphone features an 8MP front camera (f/2.0). It is placed in a waterdrop-shaped display notch.

The Moto G8 Power Lite runs the Android 9 Pie OS. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The new handset features a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ (729 x 1600 pixels) resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a pixel density of 269ppi.
The water repellent smartphone measures 164.94 x 75.76 x 9.2mm and weighs 200 grams. A fingerprint sensor is placed on the back.

Conclusion
The new handset is essentially a stripped version of the Moto G Power (launched last month). It is priced at $249.99 (approx Rs 18,000).
The new handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor and 4GB RAM. The 64GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 512GB).
In terms of optics, the Moto G Power sports a triple camera setup on the back. It combines a 16MP primary sensor (f/1.7 aperture) with an 8MP wide-angle lens (118-degrees field of view) and a 2MP macro lens (f/2.2).
For selfies and video calling, the new handset sports a 16MP front camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The 5,000mAh battery comes with support for 10W rapid charging.
