Recently, the Lenovo-owned brand launched three G-series smartphones – Moto G8 Plus, Moto G8 Power, and Moto G8 Play. Now, the Moto G8 has gone official.
The new handset comes with several upgrades over the Moto G7 handset. This includes an upgraded Snapdragon 665 SoC and a 25 percent larger battery. Let’s tale a closer look:

The Moto G8 is powered by a 2.0GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor and 4GB RAM.
The 64GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 512GB). The 4,000mAh battery supports 10W charging.
Cameras
On the back, the new smartphone sports a triple camera setup with a laser autofocus module. It is capable of recording 4K videos at 30fps and Full-HD (1080p) videos at up to 60fps.
The camera module combines a 16MP primary sensor (f/1.7 aperture) with an 8MP wide-angle lens (f/2.2, 118-degree field of view) and a 2MP macro lens (f/2.2).
For selfies and video calling, the Moto G8 sports an 8MP front camera. It supports features such as portrait mode and cinemagraph.

The Moto G8 runs the stock version of the Android 10 operating system. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, AGPS, LTEPP, SUPL, Glonass, and Galileo.
The dual-SIM smartphone features a 6.4-inch Max Vision display with HD+ (720 x 1,560 pixels) resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio, and a pixel density of 269ppi.
The Moto G8 has an Active Area-Touch Panel measurement of 88 percent. It sports hole-punch design with the cutout in the top left corner.
In terms of dimensions, the new handset measures 161.27 × 75.8 × 8.95mm and weighs 188.3 grams. It features a water-repellent design.

The Moto G8 is priced in Brazil at BLR 1,299 (approx Rs 21,000). It comes in Pearl White and Neon Blue color options.
As of now, there is no information about the Indian price tag and launch date.
