The Moto G6 Plus was launched in India (with 6GB RAM) at Rs 22,499. It is now reportedly available for purchase at Rs 11,999. The company has also reduced the price of Moto G7, Moto G7 Power and Motorola One smartphones.

The Moto G6 Plus is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 630 processor along with Adreno 508 GPU and 6GB RAM. The 64GB internal storage can be further expanded via a Micro SD card (up to 128GB).

In terms of optics, the handset sports a dual camera setup on the back (with dual-tone, dual-lens LED flash). It combines a 12-megapixel primary sensor (with 78-degree lens and f/1.7 aperture) with a 5-megapixel secondary sensor (with 79-degree lens and f/2.2 aperture).

The 8-megapixel front camera comes with an 80-degree lens, f/2.2 aperture, and a selfie flash. The 3,200mAh battery comes with support for Motorola’s TurboPower adaptor (offers 7 hours of use on a charge of 15 minutes).

The Moto G6 Plus sports a 5.93-inch display with full-HD+ (1080 x 2160 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. It measures 159.9 x 75.5 x 7.99mm and weighs 165 grams. The dual-SIM smartphone only comes in Indigo Black color options.

The new handset runs stock Android 8.0 Oreo operating system out-of-the-box (it received Android 9 Pie update in January this year). Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, NFC, 3.5mm audio jack.
