The Moto E6s is priced in India at Rs 7,999. It comes in Rich Cranberry and Polished Graphite color options.
The Redmi 7 is also priced in India at Rs 7,999 for the 2GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant. Whereas the 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage model costs Rs 8,999. Users can choose also from three color options – Comet Blue, Eclipse Black, and Lunar Red.

The Moto E6s is powered by a 2.0GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 processor along with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage (expandable up to 512GB).
On the other hand, the Redmi 7 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor along with 2GB/ 3GB/ 4GB RAM and 16GB/ 32GB/ 64GB internal storage.
While the Moto E6s is backed by a 3,000mAh battery (supports 10W charging), the Redmi 7 comes with a 4,000mAh battery (supports 18W charger).
Cameras
The Moto E6s is the first phone in the Moto E series to sport a dual-camera setup on the back. It uses a 13-megapixel primary sensor (f/2.0 aperture, 1.12-micron pixel, auto-focus support) and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
For selfies and video calling, the smartphone features an 8-megapixel front camera with an f/2.0 aperture and 1.12-micron pixel size.
On the other hand, the Redmi 7 sports a dual camera set up on the back. It uses a 12MP primary sensor (1.25um, 1/2.9 aperture) and a 2MP secondary sensor. The images are further enhanced with AI features.
For selfies and video calling, it comes with an 8MP front camera. Camera features include AI Smart Beauty, Selfie Timer, and Face Unlock.

Both devices run Android 9 Pie operating system. While the Moto handset comes with a stock interface, the Redmi smartphone runs MIUI 10.
Design and Display
The Moto E6s features a 6.1-inch display with HD+ (720 x 1560 pixels) resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 80 percent screen-to-body ratio.
The selfie cam is placed in a waterdrop notch. It comes with a removable back cover and a glossy finish.
In terms of dimensions, the Moto E6s measures 155.6 x 73.6 x 8.6 mm and weighs 149.7 grams. A fingerprint sensor is placed on the back.
On the other hand, the Redmi 7 sports a 6.26-inch display with HD+ (720 x 1520 pixels) resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio, 84-percent NTSC color gamut, waterdrop notch, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
On the back, the handset comes with a polycarbonate finish and a circular fingerprint sensor. It also sports a P2i splash-resistant coating.
