Motorola has announced a new smartphone with Android Go Edition, called Moto E5 Play. It features certain changes from the full Android Oreo edition (launched earlier this year) including a slightly larger screen, smaller battery, and a low-resolution display. The Moto E5 Play (Android Go edition) sports a 5.3-inch Max Vision display with 18:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels (down from 720p). It is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425/ 427 processor and 1GB RAM (the original Moto E5 Play model comes with 2GB RAM). The 16GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 128GB).
The new Motorola smartphone sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus feature and an LED flash. The 5-megapixel front camera also comes with an LED flash for selfies. It is backed by a 2100mAh battery (down from 2,800mAh on the original model).
