The Motorola Moto E40 is priced in India at Rs 9,499. It will be available for purchase from October 17 through Flipkart.
The new smartphone comes in Carbon Gray and Pink Clay color options. It was recently launched in Europe with a price tag of EUR 149 (approx Rs 13,000).

The Motorola Moto E40 is powered by a Unisoc T700 processor and 4GB RAM. The 64GB storage can be further expanded through a dedicated micro SD card slot (up to 1TB).
In terms of optics, the new handset sports a triple rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.79 aperture), a 2MP depth sensor (f/2.4), and a 2MP macro lens.
Cameras features on the Moto E40 include Portrait mode, Panorama, Face Beauty, HDR Night Vision, Macro Vision, and a Pro Mode.
For selfies and video calling, the new smartphone comes equipped with an 8-megapixel front camera (f/2.0). It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports standard 10W charging.

The Motorola Moto E40 runs the Android 11 operating system. It is touted to offer a near-stock Android experience.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, and a USB Type-C port.

The dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone features an IP52-certified water repellent design. It measures 165.1 x 75.6 x 9.1mm and weighs 198 grams.
The 6.5-inch Max Vision IPS display with HD+ (720 x 1,600 pixels) resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 90Hz refresh rate.
Sensors on the device include an accelerometer, ambient light, and proximity sensor. Additionally, a fingerprint sensor is placed on the back.
