Micromax just announced its first latest Android KitKat operating system running smartphone in India. The device is not officially listed on company’s website, but we got a press release regarding this smartphone. The Micormax said that this device has Reverie Multilingual pack and offers users to communicate in 20 Indian regional languages & English. So that makes counting up to 21 languages long with English and 20 others regional languages, means this smartphone is world’s first smartphone that comes in 21 languages. So it is the first smartphone from company with latest operating system Kitkat and first smartphone in world with 21 languages support like Hindi, English, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu etc., and other features are same as we can find in a smartphone around INR 7,000.  But we have to compare this smartphone with Motorola’s Moto E too.

Talking about the specifications of Micromax Unite 2, it comes with a 4.7-inch Bright Graph IPS display along with 800*480pixel resolution. On the hardware front, it comes with a 1.3GHz quad core processor from MediaTek along with 1GB RAM on board as well. As I mentioned earlier it comes with latest Android operating system Kitkat. And Micromax also claims that this device supports FOTA (Firmware over the air) capability. So next time when Google will release an update to Android, Micromax will surely do same with this device too.

Talking about the photography, the smartphone is equipped with a 5-megapixel autofocus camera at back along with a LED flash. On the other front, it has a 2-megapixel unit as well for video calling and self-portrait. The camera also offers a number of features like beauty mode, live photo mode and panorama, letting users experiment with their photography skills.

The smartphone has 4GB of internal storage along with up to 32GB memory card support on board as well. On the connectivity front, the Mciromax Unite 2 is a dual SIM smartphone along with both SIM GSM connectivity with dual standby. On the other hand, there is 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GSM connectivity as well on board.

Micromax Unite2 A106 price in India is Rs. 6999 (buy now at best price from Flipkart) .The smartphone will be available in four different colours Grey, White, Red and Green.The Micromax Unite 2 A106 comes preloaded with apps like Mad, Getit, Games Club, Hike, M!Games, kingsoft Office, M!Live, Opera Mini, Reverie Phonebook, Reverie Smartpad. And comes preloaded with games like Burn the Rope, Toystory Smash it and Marble.

Expert Opinion

With the Micormax Unite 2, Micromax openly challenged the Motorola’s Moto E with the price tag of INR 7,000. As the device surely a good competitor of Moto E, we have still have to find out who outperforms well and gives the best output.
