Micromax has expanded its Canvas series of smartphones with the launch of Micromax Canvas Spark 4G. Under the hood, the smartphone packs a 1.3GHz quad-core processor (unknown chipset) paired with 1GB of RAM. Running Android Marshmallow operating system, it features a 5-inch IPS display. The screen is protected against scratches by Corning Gorilla Glass.
The Canvas Spark 4G houses 8GB of internal memory. The smartphone sports a 5 mega pixel primary camera with LED flash. Also onboard is a 2 mega pixel front facing camera for capturing selfies and making video calls. As for connectivity, the device offers 4G VoLTE. On design front, the phone flaunts its sleek metal back cover. There is no word on battery capacity and screen resolution of the smartphone as of now.

The Micromax Canvas Spark 4G carries a price tag of Rs. 4,999. It is up for pre-order on Snapdeal and will go on sale starting November 10, 2016.
Micromax also launched its Canvas 5 Lite smartphone for Rs. 6,499. As for specifications, the smartphone packs a 64-bit 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor paired with Mali-T720 GPU. On the front, it features a 5-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution. It houses 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. The phone supports expandable storage via microSD card. On the camera front, the Canvas 5 Lite sports an 8 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and OmniVision OV8856 sensor. There is also a 5 mega pixel front camera with OmniVision OV5670 sensor. Fueled by a 2000mAh battery, it offers 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options.
