Micromax has expanded its Canvas Selfie smartphone series with the launch of Micromax Canvas Selfie 2 and Canvas Selfie 3 smartphones in India. Both devices are selfie focused phones. The Canvas Selfie 2 comes with 5 mega pixel front shooter with OmniVision OV5670 sensor and 4P lens while the Canvas selfie 3 sports an 8 mega pixel front facing camera with LED flash and Sony MX179 sensor.
As for specifications, both phones are powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with 1GB of RAM and house 8GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 32GB using microSD card.
Micromax Canvas Selfie 2
The Canvas Selfie 2 features a 5-inch FWVGA IPS (854×480 pixels) display and runs Android Lollipop 5.0 operating system. Other features of the device include 5 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash, OmniVision (OV5648) sensor and 4P lens and a 2000mAh battery.
The Canvas Selfie 3 on the other hand, comes with 4.8-inch AMOLED (1280×720 pixels) display, 8 mega pixel rear camera with with LED flash, Blue Glass 5P Largan Lens and a 2300mAh battery.

Price and Availability
The Micromax Canvas Selfie 2 will be available to buy in Black color with leather like finish from online and offline stores across the country starting August 22, 2015. There is no word on pricing of Micromax Canvas Selfie 3, it will be available to buy in Blue, Green, Purple, Sky Blue and Yellow color options, later in August 2015.
