The Micromax Canvas Plex Tab is priced at Rs 12,999 in India. It will be available from 1 September onwards in offline retail stores across the country. As part of a promotional launch offer, users will get free movie tickets to the Bollywood film ‘Shubh Mangal Saavdhan’. Selected few will also get a chance to meet the movie cast.
The one-year premium subscription of Eros Now will allow its users to access the entertainment network’s content. This includes thematic curated playlists, regional language filters, video progression and multi-language subtitles for movies and video playlists.

The Micromax Canvas Plex sports an 8-inch IPS display with HD (720p) resolution. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8382W/M processor and 3GB RAM.
On the camera front, the Micromax Canvas Plex Tab sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash. There is also a 2-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calling. It comes with 32GB internal storage (non-expandable). The new tab is backed by a 3000mAh battery that offers up to 9 hours of talking time and approximately 169 hours standby time.

The new tab runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, 2G/ 3G, and USB OTG. The new tab comes with DTS engineered audio.
The new tablet comes preloaded with Eros Now’s library of Bollywood and regional language films, music videos and TV shows. Users can also download movies and videos offline in the Eros Now app.
