Processor & RAM
All the three handsets are powered by different processors but are paired with 1 GB of RAM. Canvas Pep comes powered with Quad-core MediaTek 6582M chipset clocked at 1.3 GHz, Zenfone C is powered by 1.2 GHz Dual-core Intel Atom CloverTrail Z2520 while Xiaomi Redmi 1S is powered by Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset clocked at 1.6 GHz.
Operating System
Canvas Pep and Zenfone C run on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system while the latter comes with ZenUI wrapped on its top. Xiaomi Redmi 1S runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system with MIUI 5.0.

Verdict
Since all the three smartphones are priced the same at Rs. 5,999, specs and features which each device has to offer become the deciding factor while choosing the best handset. The specs of the devices are also matched to some extent, however Xiaomi Redmi 1S seems to have a slight edge over the other smartphones due to its larger display, better screen resolution and better camera yet at one point it lags behind its rivals, which is its outdated OS. Thus, Micromax Canvas Pep is certainly going to have tough time competing with its rivals in the Indian market.
