Micromax has launched its first 4G enabled smartphone, the Micromax Canvas Knight 2. Highlight of this phone is that it comes with dual-SIM 4G support such that both nano SIM cards on the phone support 4G connectivity.
As for specifications, it is powered by a 64-bit octa-core (quad-core 1.5GHz + quad-core 1GHz) Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor paired with 2GB of RAM. Running Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system, it features a 5-inch HD AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It supports up to 32GB of expandable storage via microSD card. The Canvas Knight 2 sports a 13 mega pixel rear camera with Sony IMX214 CMOS sensor, Largan 5P lens and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera with Omnivision OV5648 sensor, Largan 4P lens.
Backed up by a 2260mAh battery, it is claimed to deliver up to 7 hours and 45 minutes of talk time and up to 335 hours of standby time. The phone comes pre-loaded with several apps like- SwiftKey, Snapdeal, Apps Center, CleanMaster, Chaatz, Newshunt, Quikr and Hotstar. The Micromax Canvas Knight 2 also boasts of Cirrus Logic Wolfson Stereo WM8998 audio. Furthermore, the phone will come with a free 4G SIM from Airtel with Airtel 4G Double Data offer which doubles the 4G data amount on activating the 4G SIM.
