Micromax Canvas Juice 2 Launched At Rs. 8,999: Specs & Features

Domestic handset vendor Micromax has launched its new smartphone Micromax Canvas Juice 2 in India. The dual-SIM handset succeeds the Canvas Juice smartphone. Under the hood, it comes powered by a quad-core MT6582M processor clocked at 1.3 GHz accompanied with 2 GB of RAM. The Canvas Juice 2 features a 5 inch HD IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixles resolution and scratch resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop. Highlight of this device is its mighty 3000 mAh battery which allows the users to stay connected all the time.

On storage front, it houses 8 GB of expandable storage which is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card. It sports an 8 mega pixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and a 2 mega pixel front facing camera .

The handset packs a massive 3000 mAh battery which is claimed to deliver up to 9 hours of talk time and up to 18 days of standby time. Connectivity options on Canvas Juice 2 include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, GPRS/EDGE and Micro-USB. It comes with G-sensor, Proximity and Light sensors. Some of the apps preloaded on the handset include M! Live, Housing, M! games, Reverie, Clean Master, Trending Apps, Dr. safety, Snap deal, Saavn, Ask me, Chaatz, Newshunt, paytm, MAd and Skype.

Micromax also launched its Canvas Fire 4 smartphone, priced at Rs. 6,999 earlier this month. As for specifications, the handset features a 4.5 inch FWVGA with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. Other specifications of the handset include 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal memory (expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card), 8 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash, 2 mega pixel front facing camera and a 2000 mAh battery.
