Micromax has expanded its Canvas series of smartphones with the launch of Micromax Canvas Fire 6. The phone is listed on company’s official website revealing its specifications and features. There is however, no information yet about pricing and availability of the phone.
As for specifications, the phone comes with a 1GHz Cortex A53 processor (unknown chipset) clubbed with 1GB of RAM. Running Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, it features a 5-inch HD IPS display with 1280×720 pixels resolution. The phone houses 8GB of inbuilt memory and supports expandable storage up to 32GB via microSD card. It sports an 8 mega pixel primary camera and a 2 mega pixel front facing camera.
Backed up by a 3050mAh battery, the company claims it to deliver up to 27 hours of talk time and up to 550 hours of standby time. Connectivity options which the dual SIM handset offers, include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. Highlight of the phone is that it comes with 96db Loud Speakers, Amplifier & B-Bass Technology that ensure amazing sound experience. It offers low frequency 680Hz sound output for superior quality.
The Canvas Fire 6 packs entry level specs and is not very impressive. The 96db loud speakers however, might give it an edge over other smartphones in the same price range.
