Micromax has launched a new smartphone in its Canvas series, the Micromax Canvas Fire 3 smartphone. The dual-SIM phone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6582M) processor paired with 1GB of RAM. Running Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system, it features a 4.5-inch qHD IPS display with 960×540 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The phone sports a 5 mega pixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and a 2 mega pixel front facing camera. There is 8GB of inbuilt storage onboard which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. Backed up by an 1850mAh battery, it is claimed to deliver up to 7 hours of talk time and 180 hours of standby time.
Connectivity options on the handset include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPRS/EDGE, A-GPS and Micro-USB. It features accelerometer, ambient light sensor and proximity sensor. The Canvas Fire 3 comes pre-loaded with M! Live, M! Games, Clean Master, Opera, Swift key, Hike, Games Club, Snapdeal, Truecaller, Dr. Safety, Mad and Reverie apps. The smartphone also boasts of its dual frontal speakers. It flaunts its elegant design with metallic finish.

The Micromax Canvas Fire 3 is now listed on company’s website. Priced at Rs. 6,499, the handset is available to buy from e-commerce websites. Micromax is yet to make an announcement for the same, we expect to hear from the company in the coming days.
