Micromax has announced the pre-bookings of its upcoming flagship phone from the canvas series, the Micromax Canvas 4. The Canvas 4 from Micromax will be launched in New Delhi India on 8th of July in a launch event. The pre-launch bookings are open at Rs. 5000 from today and the phone will start hitting the stores and shipping for online orders after 8th of July 2013. Talking about some of the unique features of Micromax Canvas 4, it will feature a slim profile with a full HD display of 1080p display resolution. Since most Canvas series phones are in the screen size of 4.5 to 5.5 inch, the Canvas 4 is also expected in a display size of around 5 to 5.5 inch only. Looking at the graphics in the teasers of Micromax Canvas 4, it seems to have a sleek profile which is expected to be around 9 to 10 mm in thickness.

The official specifications are not revealed, but from what is visible on the pictures of the phone and as per our expert option, the Canvas 4 will have following specifications:

• High performance 1.5 GHz quad core CPU as per our best guess which is the latest from Mediatek
• A 13 MP rear camera with LED Flash and autofocus which is visible on the pictures
• Second microphone on the rear of phone for noise cancellation feature
• Front facing camera between 2 to 5 MP

• 8 GB Internal or more memory
• Android Jelly Bean 4.2
• Edge/ 3G / HSPA and HSPA+
• Bluetooth 4.0
• WiFi 802.11 b/g/n
• Dual SIM dual standby
• Battery with capacity of 2500 mAh or more
• Expected thickness of under 10 mm
• Metallic bezel around the phone for premium look
• Metallic lock / unlock / power key
• Metallic Volume rocker Key
• Touch capacitive buttons below the screen, no physical home key
• Gesture features (expected as per teasers)
• Proximity and Ambient light sensors
• G-Sensors and Magnetic compass sensors

Price, Pre-Booking and Cancellation of Micromax Canvas 4

The pre-bookings are being done without revealing the price of the phone at a booking amount of Rs. 5000. Those who pre-book will be given their phones after balance payment after 8th of July when the prices are announced. If customers who have pre-booked the phone are not willing to pay the rest and buy the phone, they have an option to cancel the order and get the refund without any interest or penalty.
