Micromax seems all ready to launch its affordable Micromax Bolt S300 smartphone in India. The handset is now listed on company’s Russia website. According to Mahesh Telecom, an established Mumbai-based retailer, the handset is now available to buy through offline retail stores as well. As for specifications, the dual-SIM Bolt S300 is powered by a single-core processor clocked at 1 GHz accompanied with 512 MB of RAM. The handset runs Android 4.4.3 KitKat operating system and features a 4 inch WVGA display with 800 x 480 pixel resolution.
On photography front, the Bolt S300 sports a 0.3 mega pixel camera on both rear and front ends. The handset houses 4 GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card. It packs a 1200 mAh battery which is claimed to deliver up to 3.5 hours of talk time and up to 150 hours of standby time. Connectivity options on the phone include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS and Micro-USB. It measures 124 x 65.8 x 11.2 mm and weighs 123 grams.

Micromax also launched its Canvas Juice 2 smartphone for Rs. 8,999 in India earlier this month. The handset flaunts a 5 inch HD IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It packs a quad-core MT6582M processor clocked at 1.3 GHz and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. Other specifications of the device include 8 GB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card), 2 GB of RAM, 8 mega pixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash, 2 mega pixel front facing camera and a 3000 mAh battery.
Price and Availability
The Micromax Bolt S300 is now listed on company’s Russia website. It is available to buy in India through e-commerce websites and offline stores for Rs. 3,300. We expect Micromax to make an official announcement for the handset soon.
