Chinese tech company Xiaomi has revealed a new Mi Pad 4 teaser poster on Weibo. The teaser confirms that the tablet will have AI face unlock technology.

The latest poster reveals that the tablet will be built with facial recognition technology. It also mentions that the device won’t have a fingerprint scanner.
Elsewhere the tablet’s price has been leaked by SlashLeaks. It is alleged to be set at CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs. 15,600).
Earlier Mi Pad 4 Teaser
The Mi Pad 4 teaser reveals that the tablet will be built with an 8-inch full-HD display. It will make it easy to hold and use.
According to previous leaks other than this Mi Pad 4 teaser, the tablet will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 SoC. It will also allegedly be packed with a 6000mAh battery.
Earlier leaks have hinted that there will a 13-megapixel OmniVision OV13855 sensor with f/2.0 aperture. It will on the back. Up front, the tablet will have a 5-megapixel Samsung S5K5E8 sensor with f/2.0 aperture.
Other Developments
The Redmi 6 Pro will also launch with this tablet.
It recently got leaked in the form of images. The Redmi 6 Pro leak consisted of several images. They displayed many specifications of the handset.
According to the images, it can be observed that the smartphone will have an iPhone X-like display notch. This was also mentioned earlier by a TENAA listing. There is also a chin at the bottom and relatively thin side bezels. The handset also has a fingerprint scanner at the rear. It is alongside a dual-rear camera module. The module is vertically placed.
It will also allegedly run MIUI 9.6 based on Android 8.1. This variant will be paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
Earlier the company had posted a teaser which hinted that the handset might have a 19:9 display with the notch. It could also be backed by a 4000mAh battery.
According to a previous TENAA listing, the handset will have a 5.84-inch full-HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio, and a dual rear camera setup. It is expected to come in 2GB/ 3GB/ 4GB RAM variants with 16GB/ 32GB/ 64GB inbuilt storage respectively. In terms of optics, there could be a 12-megapixel primary sensor at the back and a 5-megapixel camera at the front.
