Chinese company Xiaomi launched it’s tablet Mi Pad 4 in China on 24th June 2018. It was launched with the company’s latest Redmi 6 Pro. The tablet will be sold in two display variants– Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi+LTE display variants.

Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 has been built with an 8-inch, 16:10 display. The tablet’s USP is that the display can be used with a single-hand. The tablet also has AI Face Unlock and ‘smart game acceleration’ feature.

Mi Pad 4 Price

Mi Pad 4 will be sold from CNY 1,099 (Rs. 11,500 approximately) for the 3GB RAM+32GB inbuilt storage Wi-Fi version. The 4GB RAM+64GB inbuilt storage Wi-Fi variant will be sold for CNY 1,399 (Rs. 14,600 approximately). Moreover, the 4GB RAM+64GB inbuilt storage Wi-Fi+LTE version will be sold for CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs. 15,600).

The variants will be sold in Black and Gold colors. Reservations for the first sale begin on 29th June 2018.

Mi Pad 4 Specs

It runs Android-based MIUI 9. The device sports an 8-inch full-HD (1920×1200 pixels) display. It has a 16:10 aspect ratio and pixel density of 283ppi. The tablet is powered by Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 660 SoC. It is clocked up to 2.2GHz. The tablet is further backed with 3GB or 4GB RAM.

In the camera department, Mi Pad 4 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera. It has a f/2.0 aperture and HDR support. Up front, the tablet sports a 5-megapixel selfie shooter. It has a f/2.0 aperture. The tablet has AI Face Unlock feature also. Mi Pad 4 also has either 32GB or 64GB inbuilt storage. But it is not expandable via microSD card.

While in the connectivity department, the tablet includes 4G LTE (single Nano-SIM), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (dual-band, 2.45GHz, and 5GHz), Bluetooth v5.0, 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C.

The Wi-Fi model’s sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and a gyroscope. Meanwhile, the LTE variant has an additional digital compass. The tablet is also powered by a 6000mAh battery.
