Mi India has partnered with Just Buy Live And Innocomm to expand its offline presence in the country. With this partnership, Xiaomi will expand its presence to more than 5000 offline outlets. The presence of Mi stores will be expanded across major large format retailers in the country, including Big C, LOT Mobiles, Poorvika, Sangeetha and several mom and pop stores
While Just Buy Live is among the early e-distributors that enables shopkeepers, retailers and big corporates to purchase directly via e-commerce model, Innocomm is the subsidiary arm for Foxconn and sells directly to retailers via a single distributor, cutting several layers of distributors in between.
All Xiaomi smartphones, namely Redmi 2, Redmi 2 Prime, Redmi Note Prime, Redmi Note 3, Mi 5 are currently available across all major Tier 2 cities in the country. The Mi Max will go on sale via offline stores starting July 13, 2016. As for pricing, all the devices available offline will carry similar price tag as the online ones.
Mi Max is Xiaomi’s latest phablet that was launched in India in June 2016. Highlight of this phablet is that it features a large 6.44-inch display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution and 2.5D curved glass. It is priced at Rs. 14,999 for SD 650 SoC+3GB RAM+32GB storage variant and Rs. 19,999 for SD 652 SoC+4GB RAM+128GB storage variant. Read Xiaomi Mi Max review here.
