Meizu has launched multiple new smartphones in the Chinese market, including Meizu 16X and Meizu X8. While the former comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner, the X8 features a display notch as its highlight. The company also launched the Meizu V8 and Meizu V8 Pro. The Meizu 16X is priced in China at CNY 2,098 (approx Rs 22,200) for the 64GB storage variant. The 128GB storage model costs CNY 2,398 (approx Rs 25,400). Sales start on September 26.
On the other hand, the Meizu X8 comes in three variants. While the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage model costs CNY 1,598 (approx Rs 16,900), the 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,798 (approx Rs 19,100). The 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage model is priced at CNY 1,998 (approx Rs 21,200). Sales start from October 15.

Specifications and Features
Both the smartphones are powered by an octa-core (dual 2.2GHz Kryo 360 CPUs + hexa 1.7GHz Kryo 360 CPUs) Snapdragon 710 processor with Adreno 616 GPU. There is a dual camera setup on the back and a 20-megapixel selfie camera (f/2.0 aperture and AI ‘Face Unlock’ support) on front. Both handsets run Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with Flyme OS on top.

The premium smartphone sports a 6.0-inch AMOLED display with full-HD+ (1080 x 2160pixels) resolution and pixel density of 402ppi. It measures 151 x 73.5 x 7.5mm and weighs 154 grams. The new handset comes in three color options – Black, Gold, and White.
The dual camera setup combines a 12-megapixel sensor (wide-angle lens, f/1.8 aperture, four-axis OIS, PDAF, and laser auto-focus) and a secondary 20-megapixel telephoto sensor (f/2.6 aperture). It is supported by a six-LED ring LED flash.
The highlight of the dual-SIM smartphone is an in-display fingerprint sensor. It is backed by a 3,100mAh battery with mCharge fast-charging support. Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C port.

The dual rear camera setup combines a 12-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.9 aperture and dual PD focus) and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with a dual-tone LED flash.
