The Panasonic Lumix G9 is priced in India at Rs 98,990 (body-only). With a 12-60mm lens kit, it costs Rs 1,39,990.
The new camera will be available through all Panasonic brand shops, major online stores, and offline retail places. It was first announced in 2017 at $1,699 (approx Rs 1,10,300).

The Panasonic Lumix G9 features a 20.3-megapixel micro four-thirds sensor and a 5-axis in-body stabilization system (IBIS).
Panasonic claims that the fast autofocus system can lock focus in just 0.04 seconds. The company has also added face and eye-tracking features.

The new camera can shoot 6K or 4K burst modes, up to 30fps or 60fps respectively. You can record 4K videos at 60fps.
The Panasonic Lumix G9 sports a weather-sealed body with a rugged design. It is said to be dust, freeze, and splash-proof.
The OLED electronic viewfinder comes with a resolution of 3.68 million dots. It is accompanied by a full-articulating LCD display on the back and a secondary LCD panel on the top.
Additional features on the camera include dual card slots, special shooting modes, built-in Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
