LG has launched its selfie focused LG Max smartphone in India. Highlight of this device is its 5 mega pixel front facing or selfie camera. It comes with LG’s proprietary features which have been carried over from G series, such as Gesture Shot and Selfie Flash. Gesture Shot lets users to take selfie pictures by simply opening and closing their palm in front of the camera without tapping anywhere or pressing button. The Selfie Flash feature transforms the display of the phone into soft flash for more refined selfies.
As for specifications the Max is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. The device runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system and features a 5-inch FWVGA display with 854×480 pixels resolution.
Besides a 5 mega pixel front facing camera, it sports an 8 mega pixel rear camera. There is 8GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded using microSD card. Backed up by a 2540mAh battery, it measures 140.8×71.6×9.6mm in dimensions and weighs 155 grams. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB 2.0.

The LG Max will be available to buy for Rs. 10,990 in White, Gold and Titan color options.
