The LG K12+ is priced in Brazil at BRL 1,199 (approx Rs 21,200). It comes in three color options – Moroccan Blue, Platinum Gray, and Black. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price or launch date.

The new handset is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 (MT6762) processor and 3GB RAM. The 32GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 2TB). It is backed by a 3,000mAh battery.
In terms of optics, the LG K12+ sports a 16-megapixel rear cameras with an f/2.0 aperture and an LED flash. Camera features include HDR support, Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF), and Google Lens integration for image recognition. The preloaded AI Camera adjusts settings for eight different subjects such as people, animals, food, etc.
For selfies and video calling, the new smartphone sports an 8-megapixel front camera along with an f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. A Portrait Mode blurs the background and enhances the foreground.

The LG K12+ runs Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and Micro-USB port. It measures 153.0 x 71.9 x 8.3mm.
The dual-SIM smartphone features a 5.7-inch HD+ (720×1440 pixels) display along with 18:9 aspect ratio. A fingerprint sensor is placed at the back. Other sensors on the device include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and a proximity sensor.
