LG has announced new Gram range of laptops. The new series offers ‘full-day battery life’ as their USP. The company claims that the new laptops can last up to 22.5 hours on a single full charge. Price and Availability
While the new LG Gram range has already passed seven MIL-STD 810G tests, it will be officially launched at CES 2018 next month. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price and launch date.

Specifications and Features
While the entire list of specifications is still under wraps, LG claims that the new series of laptops will boost work efficiency by 40 percent. The company claims that the booting time on the new laptops will be under 10 seconds. he new notebooks are powered by 8th generation Intel Core i7 and Core i5 processors. Apart from SSD storage, users also get a secondary SSD storage slot (optional).
The new LG Gram laptops come in different sizes and specifications. Users will be able to choose from 13.3-inch, 14-inch, and 15-inch display-variants. The 13.3-inch and 14-inch models (13Z980 and 14Z980) weigh about 965 and 995 grams, respectively. Whereas the largest 15.6-inch model (15Z950) weighs around 1,095 grams. The new notebooks have passed all seven MIL-STD 810G durability tests. LG claims that the new laptops are 20 percent more durable compared to traditional magnesium products. All three devices feature a Nano-Carbon Magnesium full metal alloy body.

LG claims that the 72Wh battery on the new laptops can last an entire day on a single full charge. While the 13-inch offers a 22.5-hour battery life, the 14-inch model can last up to 21.5 hours. The 15.6-inch model offers 19 hours of battery life.
The new laptop models run Windows 10 operating system. The audio is enhanced via DTS Headphone X technology, which offers multi-channel sound (up to 11.1 channels for 1.5W hi-fi surround sound). Additional features include a backlit keyboard, a precision touchpad, touchscreen, a fingerprint sensor, and Thunderbolt 3 support.
