LG has launched its latest tablet LG G Pad II 8.0 as the successor of LG G Pad 8.0 in Korea. While the latest tablet takes design cues from its predecessor, there are few tweaks in hardware of the device.
Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor paired with 1.5GB of RAM. Running Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system, it features an 8-inch WXGA IPS display with 1280×800 pixels resolution. On storage front, it comes with 32GB of inbuilt storage and supports microSD card for expandable storage up to 128GB. There is no word on camera resolution of the tablet as of now.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. Backed up by a 4200mAh battery, it measures 210.8×124.2×8.95mm in dimensions and weighs 347 grams. It will be available in White and Black color options. The second generation LG G Pad comes with USB port using which users can charge other devices, connect keyboards, portable hard drives and gaming controllers. It features a 3.5mm capacitive stylus and also comes loaded with LG-QPair 2.0 app, Quick Memo+ and Microsoft Office.
