Lenovo has finally launched a 5G variant of its Z6 Pro smartphone. It comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X50 modem. Price and Availability
As of now, there is no information about the price or launch date of Lenovo Z6 Pro 5G Edition. The standard Lenovo Z6 Pro is priced in China at CNY 2,899 (approx Rs 30,000) for the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant.
While the 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage model costs CNY 2,999 (approx Rs 31,000), the 8GB RAM/ 256GB storage variant comes at CNY 3,799 (approx Rs 39,000). A high-end variant with 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage comes with a price tag of CNY 4,999 (approx Rs 51,000).

The Lenovo Z6 Pro 5G Edition is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 855 SoC along with Snapdragon X50 5G modem. It comes with a PC-grade Coldfront liquid cooling system for better heat dissipation and management.
Additionally, the new handset sports a new back panel with a transparent design. Other specifications and design are identical to that of the Lenovo Z6 Pro (launched back in April this year).

In terms of optics, the smartphone sports an AI-powered quad-camera setup (with dual-LED flash) on the back. It uses a 48-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.8 aperture), a 16-megapixel secondary sensor (wide-angle-lens), an 8-megapixel sensor (telephoto lens), and a 2-megapixel ToF (Time of Flight) sensor.
Camera features include OIS (optical image stabilization) and PDAF (phase detection autofocus). Lenovo has also added several AI-powered features such as Super Night Scene, Super Macro, Super Wide Angle, Super Body, and Dual Scene
For selfies and video calling, the Lenovo Z6 Pro sports a 32-megapixel front camera. It supports the Face unlock feature. The 4,000mAh battery supports 27W fast charging and ‘reverse charging’.

The Lenovo Z6 Pro runs on Android 9 Pie operating system with ZUI 11 on top. It comes with several software enhancements such as Game Turbo mode, U-Touch, and U Health. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, dual-frequency GPS, and a USB Type-C port.
The dual-SIM smartphone sports a 6.39-inch AMOLED display with a waterdrop-shaped notch. It comes with support for DC dimming and HDR 10. The company claims that the in-display fingerprint sensor can even detect wet fingers.
For audio, the smartphone supports Dolby Atmos, LDAC, AAC, and aptX HD audio codecs.
