Lenovo has finally unveiled its Z5s smartphone in the Chinese market. It comes with Snapdragon 710 SoC and Game Turbo technology. The Lenovo Z5s is priced in China at CNY 1,398 (approx Rs 14,400) for the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant. While the 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant costs CNY 1,598 (approx Rs 16,400), the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant comes with a price tag of CNY 1,898 (approx Rs 19,500). Sales start from December 24.
A Lenovo Z5s Zhu Yilong custom version is priced at CNY 1,998 (approx Rs 20,500). Shipping starts from January 12 next year. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price and launch date.

The new smartphone is powered by a 2.2GHz Snapdragon 710 octa-core processor along with Adreno 616 GPU and 4GB/ 6GB RAM. The 64GB/ 128GB internal storage can be further expanded via a hybrid microSD card slot (up to 256GB). It is backed by a 3,300mAh battery.
In terms of optics, the Lenovo Z5s sports a triple camera setup (vertically stacked) on the back. It combines a 16-megapixel primary sensor (6P lens, f/1.8 aperture), an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 5-megapixel sensor. The 16-megapixel secondary sensor comes with a f/2.0 aperture. Camera features include digital zoom, beauty filters, etc.

The new handset sports a waterdrop-shaped notch. It measures 156.7 x 74.5 x 7.85mm and weighs 172 grams. A fingerprint sensor is placed on the back. It comes in three color options – Honey Orange, Starry Black, and Titanium Crystal Blue.
The Lenovo Z5s runs on Android Oreo operating system with ZUI 10 on top. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi hotspot, GPS. USB OTG, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The dual-SIM smartphone sports a 6.3-inch LTPS display (1080 x 2340 pixels) with 92.6 percent screen-to-body ratio, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and 450nits peak brightness.

The company also announced the Lenovo Z5 Pro variant powered by the latest 2.84 GHz Snapdragon 855 processor and up to 12GB RAM. It is priced in China at CNY 2,698 (approx Rs 28,000) for the base model. The handset comes in four variants – 6GB RAM/ 128GB internal storage, 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage, 8GB RAM/ 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM/ 512GB storage.
In terms of optics, the Lenovo Z5 Pro variant sports a dual camera set up on the front and the back. It features a 6.39-inch Samsung Super AMOLED display with full HD+ resolution (2340 x 1080 pixels). Additional features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, a slider mechanism for selfie cam, ZUI 10.0, and a 3,350mAh battery.
