Lenovo has finally launched the much-anticipated Z5s smartphone. The company also unveiled the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT (with up to 12GB RAM). The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT is priced in China at CNY 2,698 (approx Rs 27,700) for the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant. While the 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant costs CNY 2,998 (approx Rs 30,800), the 8GB RAM/ 256GB storage variant comes with a price tag of CNY 3,398 (approx Rs 41,100). The high-end 12GB RAM/ 512GB storage variant is priced at CNY 4,398 (approx Rs 45,100).
All the four variants will be available for pre-orders in China from January 15. Sales begin from January 24. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price and launch date.

The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor (based on the 7nm process). The new chipset was announced earlier this month. It comes with a Snapdragon X50 modem that enables 5G connectivity.
In terms of optics, the new smartphone sports a dual camera setup on the front and back. The rear camera setup uses a 16-megapixel Sony IMX519 sensor (f/1.8 aperture), 24-megapixel Sony IMX576 sensor (f/1.8 aperture) and a dual-tone LED flash.
The front camera setup combines a 16-megapixel primary sensor (f/2.2 aperture) with an 8-megapixel IR sensor (supports the Face Unlock feature). It is backed by a 3,350mAh battery.

The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT runs Android 9.0 Pie operating system with the company’s ZUI 10.0 on top. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C port.
The dual-SIM smartphone features a 6.39-inch Super AMOLED display with full-HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Other sensors on the device include an ambient light sensor, hall sensor, electronic compass, gravity sensor, gyroscope, and a proximity sensor.
The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT comes in a Carbon Black color option with carbon fiber finish on top. It measures 155.12 x 73.04 x 9.3mm and weighs 210 grams. The selfie cam is placed in a sliding structure that uses six parallel slides, double-helical structure, and AI smart antennas. The company claims that the antennas detect the position of the user’s hand grip to dynamically adjust the signal.
