Lenovo has finally launched its Lenovo Vibe S1 smartphone in the Indian market for Rs. 15,999. To recall, the handset was unveiled at IFA 2015 event in Berlin in September this year . The highlight of this device is its dual front camera set up- one with resolution of 8 mega pixel while the other one is a 2 mega pixel depth sensor.

On design front, it features a subtle yet premium body. It boasts of its glass rear with glossy finish and brushed metal frame which makes it look very appealing. It is a sleek and light weight smartphone with just 7.8mm thickness and 132 grams of weight. The phone feels great while holding in hand.
On the front, there is a 5-inch full HD IPS display with resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The display has sharp image quality, rich colors and brilliant viewing angles.
Above the display, there is a proximity sensor, earpiece and dual front cameras.
Top edge houses 3.5mm audio jack and secondary microphone for noise cancellation.

The camera department is one thing this phone boasts of. The 13 mega pixel primary camera of the phone is accompanied with a dual tone LED flash and takes lively and blur free images.
The dual front cameras are aimed at selfie lovers across the country. It comes with an 8 mega pixel camera for capturing images while the other 2 mega pixel camera is a depth sensor. The dual camera set up ensures that selfie lovers get the best shots. Once you have captured image on the device using front camera, you can refocus them. You can add blur to the images as well as swap backgrounds.
As for performance, it is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.7GHz paired with 3GB of RAM. On testing the phone on Antutu benchmarks, we got score of around 44,000. The device is a beast when it comes to performance. It handles moderate to heavy gaming and multitasking seamlessly.
On software front, it runs Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system wrapped under Vibe UI. It comes with a Secure Zone feature using which users can secure their private applications. Users will thus, have two zones- open zone and secure zone. While the open zone will run all applications, the secure zone will run only trusted apps which the user has configured. Users can switch between the two zones using Secure zone icon in the status bar.
For storage purpose, it comes with 32GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. It also supports USB OTG. Backed up by a 2500mAh battery, it is good enough to survive for up to one day on moderate usage.
