Lenovo is calling the AMD variant, the ThinkPad X13 Gen 2. Whereas the Intel variant is called th eThinkPad X13 Gen 2 i.
The Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Gen 2 comes with a starting price of $1,139 (approx Rs 82,400). The price of the ThinkPad X13 Gen 2 i starts at $1,299 (approx Rs 94,000).
The Intel variant will be available from next month. However, the AMD option will be available from May.
The new laptop comes in Black and Storm Grey color options. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price tag and launch date.

The Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Gen 2 is powered by up to an 11th-Gen Intel Core i7 vPro processor along with integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics, up to 32GB LPDDR4x RAM (4,266Mhz), and up to 2TB PCIe Gen4 SSD storage.
The new laptop is backed by a 54.7Whr battery that can last up to 15.5 hours. You can also choose a 41Whr battery option that is said to offer 12 hours of usage time.
Lenovo has not shared exact details for the AMD variant. However, it is expected to come with the same specifications.

The Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Gen 2 runs Windows 10 Pro OS. Connectivity options include NFC, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB Type-A 3.2 ports, an HDMI 2.0 port, and an audio jack.
Customers can also choose the optional 5G connectivity. While the Intel models come with Wi-Fi 6E support, the AMD ones come with Wi-Fi 6.
For audio, the new laptop features a front-facing Dolby Audio speaker system and two far-field microphones.
Display
In terms of dimensions, the Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Gen 2 measures 305.8 x 217.06 x 18.19mm and weighs 1.19kg. It can be equipped with a backlit keyboard (with 1.5mm key stroke).
The Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Gen 2 features a 13.3-inch WUXGA IPS display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, 300 nit peak brightness, and 100 percent coverage of sRGB color space.
The company is also offering a Privacy Guard Non-Touch panel with 500 nit peak brightness. Users can also opt for a WQXGA Low Power IPS panel with 400 nit peak brightness, 100 percent sRGB coverage, and Low Blue Light.
Additionallt, the Intel model comes with an optional touch variant of the 13.3-inch WUXGA IPS display.

Conclusion
Lenovo has also updated other ThinkPad models including the ThinkPad X13 Yoga, ThinkPad T14 series, ThinkPad L14, ThinkPad L15, and ThinkPad P14s series.
The new models come with Intel Tiger Lake and AMD Ryzen 5000 series CPUs options. While the Intel models come with Wi-Fi 6E support, the AMD ones come with Wi-Fi 6.
Additional features include 5G connectivity, Dolby speaker systems, and fingerprint readers.
