Lenovo claims that the new laptops have higher performance, better camera/ audio capabilities, and security. They are aimed at “hybrid” users.
All three devices are powered by 12th Gen Intel Core processors and run Windows 11 OS. Let’s have a closer look:
Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga (7th Gen)
The new laptop is powered by the 12th Gen Intel Core ‘Alder Lake’ processors along with Intel Iris Xe graphics, up to 32GB LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 2TB NVMe SSD storage.
The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga is backed by a 57Whr battery. It features a MIL-STD 810H certified build, a full-HD+ infrared camera with a shutter, and a fingerprint scanner.
The laptop sports a 14-inch OLED display with WQUXGA (3,840 x 2,400 pixels) resolution and up to 500 nits of brightness. There is also an “add on film touch” (AOFT) Touch display option.
Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.2 support, along with two Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, an HDMI 2.0b port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The new laptop is powered by 12th Gen Intel Core ‘Alder Lake’ processors along with Intel Iris Xe graphics, up to 32GB LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 2TB NVMe SSD storage.
The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon is backed by a 57Whr battery. It features a MIL-STD 810H certified build, a full-HD+ infrared camera with a shutter, and a fingerprint scanner.
The laptop sports a 14-inch display with WQUXGA (3,840 x 2,400 pixels) resolution and 500 nits of brightness. There is also a Touch AOFT and 2.8K OLED option.
Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, an HDMI 2.0b port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The new laptop is powered by 12th Gen Intel Core processors along with Intel Iris Xe graphics, up to 32GB LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 2TB NVMe SSD storage.
The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Nano is backed by a 49.6Whr battery. It features a MIL-STD 810H certified build, a full-HD+ infrared camera with a shutter, and a fingerprint scanner.
The laptop sports a 13-inch AOFT Touch display with 2K (2,048 x 1,080 pixels) resolution and up to 450 nits of brightness. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Price and Availability

The new Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga is priced at $1,749 (approx Rs 1,30,100). Whereas the new ThinkPad X1 Carbon comes at $1,639 (approx Rs 1,22,000). Both will be available from March 2022.
On the other hand, the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Nano (2nd Gen) will be available from April 2022. It comes with a price tag of $1,659 (approx Rs 1,23,400).
