Lenovo has finally launched its K6 Power smartphone in the Indian market. Priced at Rs. 9,999, the smartphone will compete with Xiaomi’s Redmi 3s Prime smartphone. Design
On design front, both phones flaunt their metal unibody design which looks very premium. Both are compact and light weight smartphones. The Lenovo K6 Power measures 9.3mm in thickness and weighs 145 grams while Redmi 3S Prime has thickness of 8.5mm and weighs 144 grams.
Display
Both smartphones feature a 5-inch display. However, there is a difference in screen resolution of both the phones. Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime comes with an HD 720p resolution display while the K6 Power has a full HD 1080p resolution screen. The Lenovo K6 Power does have an upper hand in this round.
Camera
Both phones sport a 13 mega pixel primary camera on the back accompanied with LED flash and PDAF. Verdict
Both Lenovo K6 Power and Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime are powerful budget smartphones and offer similar specifications. The Lenovo K6 Power comes with a better display, 8 mega pixel front camera and features such as Dolby Atmos audio and TheatreMax technology. But you will have to shed Rs. 1,000 for the K6 Power. Xiaomi Redmi 3S on the other hand offers slightly more battery and IR blaster and is priced Rs. 1,000 less than the K6 Power. If you want your smartphone to be equipped with a full HD display, 8MP front camera along with TheatreMax technology for VR and 360-degree viewing support, then you should go for Lenovo K6 Power. But remember that all these features will cost you Rs. 1,000 more. If a full HD display and a 5 mega pixel are sufficient, then you can also opt for Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime.
