Lenovo has today launched its K3 Note smartphone for Rs.9,999 in the Indian market. This device will go on sale exclusively via Flipkart starting July 8 and registrations for first flash sales are open now. This 4G enabled handset comes with great specs and features. With decent innards, the handset will fare against Redmi Note 4G and Yu Yureka which also fall in sub-Rs. 10,000 price category.

The looks of the phone resemble Lenovo A7000 from the front. The K3 Note has essentially taken design cues from the A7000. It comes with all plastic body and removable back. K3 Note comes with full HD (1920×1080 pixel) display as opposed to the HD (1280×720 pixels) display of Lenovo A7000.
Above the display, there is a 5 mega pixel front facing camera and notification light. There are three touch capacitive buttons below the display which lack backlit. On the back of the phone, you will find a 13 mega pixel camera with dual LED flash, speaker and Lenovo branding. Chrome tipped power and wake up key alongside volume rocker are placed on the side of the phone. At the top edge you will see micro-USB port.
On removing the rear panel, under the hood of the phone you will find 3000mAh battery, two SIM card slots and one microSD card slot for further expansion of 16GB inbuilt storage.
On software front, it runs Android 5.0 Lollipop wrapped under Vibe UI which is quite easy and fast in usage. The handset comes pre loaded with several apps which means bloatware is pre installed, though you can get rid of that.
The 5.5 inch full HD display is good enough for watching movies and playing games. Color saturation and viewing angles are pretty good.
Out of 16GB internal storage, 9.14GB is usable. It also supports USB OTG so that users can watch movies on this device using pendrive
Both camera on the phone are impressive. The 13 mega pixel rear camera comes with dual LED flash while there is a 5 mega pixel front facing camera also. The detailing and quality of pictures from both the cameras are stunning.
Coming to the performance, it packs an octa-core (MediaTek MT6572) processor clocked at 1.5GHz with 64-bit capabilities. Graphics performance of the device is also impressive.
K3 Note is a slim phone but it weighs 10 grams more than the Lenovo A7000. Former weighs 150 grams. There are three color options namely, yellow, black and white available for the handset.
