Lenovo, the name that reads performance computing in a finer print has just launched the first budget tablet from their stable in the Indian market and this tablet comes as quite a relief from the budget tablets on offer. The Ideapad A2107 is the name and the tablet comes at a pocket-friendly price tag of Rs.13,999 and is readily available on e-commerce websites and the Lenovo stores all over the country.
The Ideapad comes with a dual-SIM functionality which most of the budget brands have failed to provide despite all their smartphones having a dual-SIM functionality on offer. The tablet has a handy 7 inch LED capacitive screen and will support register a touch at 7 points. The screen has a display resolution of 1024×600 pixels and 320 nits brightness is on offer for that crisp display.
The tablet comes with Wi-Fi connectivity in addition to the dual SIM option. The tablet derives it processing power from a 1 GHz Mediatek MTK 6575 processor and for all your RAM heavy tasks, it comes with 1 GB of RAM which shall ensure you are never out of multi tasking abilities. The storage capacity stands at an internal storage of 16 GB. It runs on Android 4.0.4 and we doubt if there would be a Jelly Bean update in the works.
It comes with a 2.0 MP snapper at the back which would not win you any photography awards. There’s a front VGA camera too for video calling and vanity checks. It gets Bluetooth, GPS and an HDMI port for using it with your other devices. The tablet weighs a meager 400 grams and shall not pose any problems. All in all, it is a solid bang for buck product from a reliable company in the era of the budget tablets from home grown electronics makers.
