Now Lenovo has launched its budget 4G LTE enabled Lenovo A6000 smartphone which will be available in India by the end of January 2015. This latest smartphone from Lenovo, will compete with other 4G LTE enabled smartphones in the sub-Rs.10,000 category. Processor
All these three smartphones are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processors. Lenovo A6000 is backed up by 1.2 GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, Yu Yureka is powered by Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor clocked at 1.5 GHz while Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 Quad-Core processor clocked at 1.6 GHz. Lenovo A6000 entails 1 GB of RAM while Yu Yureka and Redmi Note 4G are equipped with 2 GB of RAM.
Operating System
Though these three smartphones run on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, yet they differ in the UI that they offer. Yu Yureka runs on Cyanogen 11 based Android operating system which offers security, customization and optimized performance to the users. Operating system of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G on the other hand is customized with MIUI version 5.
Display
Lenovo A6000 smartphone sports 5 inch HD IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolutiona and 294 ppi pixel density. Yu Yureka and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G on the other hand house a larger 5.5 inch IPS display, both with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and 267 ppi pixel density and Gorilla Glass 3 protection to protect the screen against scratches and damages. Lenovo A6000 comes with smaller screen and slightly higher pixel density.
Camera
Lenovo A6000 lags behind on imaging front as compared to Yureka and Redmi Note 4G. A6000 sports an 8 mega pixel rear camera and a 2 mega pixel front facing camera. Yu Yureka and Redmi Note 4G both sport a 13 mega pixel rear camera and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera which is focused towards selfie lovers for capturing selfies and making video calls.
Storage
For storage purpose, Lenovo A6000 and Redmi Note 4G entail 8 GB in-built storage while Yu Yureka houses a larger 16 GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD slot. A6000 and Redmi Note 4G also come with microSD card slot. Later can support up to 64 GB of expandable storage while the expandable storage of Lenovo A6000 is unknown as of now.
Battery & Connectivity
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G packs the most powerful 3100 mAh battery among all three devices, followed by Yu Yureka with 2500 mAh battery and lastly the Lenovo A6000 smartphone with 2300 mAh battery. None of the devices fail to impress us on connectivity front. All the devices include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options.
Price
All the smartphones are competitively priced in sub-Rs,10,000 range. Though the price of Lenovo A6000 is not known yet, our sources have revealed that it will be priced under Rs. 8,000. Yu Yureka is priced at Rs. 8,999 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G is priced at Rs. 9,999.
Verdict
All these smartphones give fierce competition to each other. Lying in the sub-Rs.10,000 range, these 4G enabled smartphones offer the users an array of attractive features. The CyanogenMod 11 platform of Yu Yureka and MIUI version 5 of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G give them an additional advantage over Lenovo A6000. Lenovo A6000 further seems to lag behind the other two devices on few fronts like camera, display size and battery. Yet, with its competitive pricing under Rs. 8,000, it will give tough competition to its rivals.
